MINUTES
Board Members Present: Minister William C. Muhammad,
Quintan Cooley, Ann Craig,
Nicholas Archer, David Bukala,
Eloise Heiftje
Board Members Absent: Connie Navarro, (Excused)
Ruby Clark, (Excused)
Carlos Florez
Staff Present: Denny Powers, Staff Liaison
Chairperson William Muhammad called the meeting to order at 6:37 p.m.
Chairperson Muhammad asked if everyone had a chance to read the previous meeting
minutes and if there were any corrections or additions.
The chair noted that two corrections were needed to the April minutes; The meeting was
actually chaired by the Vice-chairperson Carlos Florez and the start time should read 6:40
p.m.
It was motioned, supported and passed to approve the minutes with the corrections as
noted.
Old Business
None.
New Business
Mr. Powers shared that Kurt Dykman is now back on Road Patrol and that Lt. Dennis
Lord would assume the duties of Internal Affairs Investigator.
Public Participation
None.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
The next meeting is June 2, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in room 103 of Muskegon City Hall.
