CITY OF MUSKEGON CITIZEN’S POLICE REVIEW BOARD Minutes DATE OF MEETING: March 24, 2025 PLACE OF MEETING: Muskegon City Hall – Rm. 103 BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Ann Craig, Robert Roundtree, Rozelia Patino, Faye Redmond, Deborah Sweet, Chelsea Kelly BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Eric Hood, Shaundrica Roberts STAFF PRESENT: Emily Morgenstern - CPRB Staff Liaison The meeting was called to order at 6:34 p.m. by Chair Robert Roundtree. Roll call was taken and a quorum was present. Approval of Minutes The December 16, 2024 Regular Meeting minutes were reviewed. No board members had any changes. The minutes were approved. Unfinished Business There was no unfinished business. New Business The board reviewed complaint IA-25-03. The board asked about getting the full Internal Affairs report to better understand the background and conclusion of formal complaints. A document was shared with the board to better outline the role of the Citizen’s Police Review Board. Ideas were suggested on how to make this an external document to share with the public. Ideas including in person engagement events were also shared about how to better inform the public of the complaint and appeal process. The board has several desired changes to the current bylaws. The April 28 meeting will be spent reviewing the by-laws and reviewing any wanted changes to submit to the City Commission. Public Comment There was no public comment.
