CITY OF MUSKEGON MUSKEGON HOUSING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING MINUTES 4/4/2013 5:30 PM ATTENDANCE: Randy Mackie, Greg Borgman, Ed Simmons, Willie German, William Krick Boyd Arthur ABSENT: Kirk Kolberg STAFF: Hope Mitchell, Kirk Briggs, Stephanie Johnson Meeting minutes: A motion was made by Randy Mackie and seconded by Willie German to approve the February 2013 minutes. Dangerous Buildings Old Cases: EN-100199 – 1170 Allen (Garage only) – K. Jordan & S. Jenkins, 1277 E Isabella, Muskegon, MI 49442. No one was present to represent property. Randy Mackie made a motion to declare the structure substandard, dangerous and a public nuisance and was seconded by William Krick. Other: Brief introduction of Kirk Briggs from Safebuilt and Mr. Briggs shared Safebuilt will help and temp up with the City. Discussion with Jeffrey Lewis on procedures for Vacant Buildings, Board-Ups and Demolitions. Hope Mitchell explained Planning, Economics and the role the inspectors have in Code Compliance and procedures for Demolitions.
