Regular Meeting Minutes
Monday, December 12, 2022
4:00 P.M.

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner David Wentland at 4:05 P.M.
Present: Commissioner David Wentland, Commissioner Larry Spataro, Kristen
Wade, Civil Service Director, Dwana Thompson, EEO & Employee Relations
Director and Dan VanderHeide, Deputy Director of Public Works.
II. MINUTES
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wentland to approve the regular meeting minutes of the November 14, 2022
meeting.
Motion Carried.
III. ACTION AGENDA
A. Job Description – Sign Fabricator / Traffic Sign Maintenance Worker
Motion was made by Commissioner Spataro and seconded by Commissioner
Wentland to approve the new job description for the Sign Fabricator and the
Traffic Sign Maintenance Worker. Deputy Director VanderHeide explained that
the two job descriptions were originally separate prior to 2017, then they were
combined. Due to the significant difference in qualifications, he is asking for the
job descriptions to become separate again.
Motion Carried.
