BOMB/TERRORISTIC THREAT PROCEDURE
City of Muskegon
Upon receipt of a bomb threat the following procedure is to be followed.
L. Keep the caller on the telephone for as long as possible to obtain as much information
as possible. (Refer to the Bomb Threat Call Checklist)
Attempt to have a co-worker or supervisor notified.

Leave the line open that the call came in on. This will allow Verizon to attempt a
trace on the call. ; ——— De ot thang ike .

Provide as much detail as possible on the Checklist form and to responding personnel.
The decision to evacuate the building will be made by the Emergency Management
Staff for the City of Muskegon.
Report any unusual packages or occurrences within your area. (DO NOT TOUCH
ANY SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE)
Emergency Responders will follow procedures developed and implemented specific
to the threat at hand.
