DATE OF MEETING:                June 17, 2024

PLACE OF MEETING:               Muskegon City Hall – Room 103

BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT:          William Muhammad, Ann Craig, Robert Roundtree, Eric Hood, Faye
                                Redmond, Deborah Sweet

BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT:           Sarah Overly

STAFF PRESENT:                  Emily Morgenstern - CPRB Staff Liaison

GUESTS PRESENT:                 Commissioner Willie German, Paul A. Billings


The meeting was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by Chair Robert Roundtree. Roll call was taken and a
quorum was present.

Approval of Minutes
The May 20, 2024 Regular Meeting minutes were reviewed. No board members had any changes. The
minutes were approved.

Unfinished Business
There was no unfinished business.

New Business
D. Sweet introduced herself as the new neighborhood association representative.

W. Muhammad gave a history of the CPRB for D. Sweet.

As a body, the CPRB would like to go to the City Commission to get a better understanding on the
internal review process. E. Morgenstern suggested Chief Kozal, City Manager Seyferth, Mayor Johnson
and one or two other commissioners come to a CPRB meeting to have that discussion. E. Morgenstern
will also send out memorandum of understanding to the CPRB.

Public Comment
There was no public comment.

Adjournment
W. Muhammad motioned and A. Craig seconded a motion to adjourn. After a unanimous vote, the
meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
