Water System Advisory Council Meeting

MINUTES
o Call to Order
 Meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m.

o Roll Call
 Present: Joe Buthker, Wyatt Eggleton, Dave Smith
 Absent: Mike Hannan, Josh Parmer

o Action Items
A. Appoint new council members
 Josh Parmer will take the seat previously held by Dave Baker and Dave
Smith will take the seat previously held by Dave Semelbauer.

B. Appoint chairperson
 Motion made by Wyatt Eggleton to appoint Joe Buthker as
Chairperson; seconded by Dave Smith. Motion carried.

C. Approval of minutes from 12/13/2023 meeting
 Motion made by Dave Smith to approve 12/13/2023 meeting minutes;
seconded by Wyatt Eggleton. Motion carried.

o Discussion
A. 2025 meeting schedule
 Meeting will be scheduled in early December 2025.

B. Water system update
 Discussion was held on the current progress of the lead service line
replacement in Muskegon. The discussion focused on the 2023 lead
sample results, the new Service Line Material Reporting map, and
previous, current, and future lead service line replacement projects.

o Public Comment
 No one from the public was present.

o Adjournment
 Motion to adjourn made by Dave Smith, seconded by Wyatt Eggleton.
Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:29 a.m.
