MEETING MINUTES
Meeting called to order at 9:00 am by M. Flermoen.
I. ROLL CALL

Smith
MEMBERS ABSENT: R. Jenkins, D. Ghezzi,
OTHERS PRESENT: J. Hines, S. Green, D. Alexander, Pamela Westra and guest Rockey from Rolling
Stone
II. Approval of minutes – March 20, 2024 S. Wilson motioned to approve the minutes and supported by L.
Hopson. All in favor
III. BID Agenda Items – Jocelyn Hines
A. BID financial statements – March 31, 2024 – Motion to accept the Lakeside Business Improvement
District financial statement as of March 31, 2024 was made by L. Hopson and supported by S.
Wilson. All in favor
B. Congrats to Louise Hopson on her Retail Excellence Award from the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber
of Commerce – Jocelyn Hines
C. Congrats to Ronald Jenkins on being named the Volunteer of the Year by United Way of the
Lakeshore -Jocelyn Hines
D. Approval of Social Media class invoice – Mark Flermoen gave an update on the classes provided.
Positive feedback, 12-13 business attended. Agrees to pay the invoices but would like board
approval on all invoices. L. Hopson made a motion to approve the payment of invoice, S. Wilson
supported. All in favor
E. Printing of brochure approval – Mark Flermoen – M. Smith motioned to approve printing of
brochures and rack cards – 1,000 brochures $645, 2,500 rack cards $445 and supported by S.
Wilson. All in favor
IV. Adjourn – L. Hopson motioned to adjourn the meeting and supported by M. Smith
