                                               MINUTES

  Present: Sarah De La Rosa, Hillery Ross, Evelyn Hough, Sidney Long, David Ruck, Aaron Bodbyl-Mast,
                       Leann Heywood, John Burt, Roberta King, Lynnette Marks
                                                 Absent:

  I.    Approval of 5/15/2024 minutes
            a. Motion by Marks, second by De La Rosa to approve the May 2024 meeting minutes;
                unanimously approved.
                                                    Motion passes
  II.   FY25 Projects Discussion
            a. Director Karczewski gives a brief presentation on projects that were completed in FY24.
            b. Bodbyl-Mast asks about the costs – it is a one-time cost of $20,000 per beach safety
                tower. Ruck inquires about data and metrics, wondering where information is coming
                from as well as what measurables we hope to get out of this.
            c. Burt lobbies to push the discussion of beach safety purchases to a future meeting.
                Mayor Johnson requests that we put the information about monitors and stop-light
                system on the City website. Long suggests putting a notification on the parking kiosks.
 III.   Hartshorn Planning Update
            a. Director Karczewski had a Community Engagement session. A lot of the concerns were
                about the traffic patterns and the bike path. There is an engagement at Hartshorn on
                July 26 that the Mayor encouraged the board to attend in leu of the July PRAC meeting.
                Bodbyl-Mast requested an updated on the previously discussed topics including
                Adelaide Point’s connection with the City, fines, and replacement of the bike path.
 IV.    Swimming Buoy Update
            a. Permit was accepted by the State for 5 swimming buoys. The Fire Department is going
                to use it as their annual dive training.
 V.     Planning PRAC Park Tour
            a. The trolley at MATS is open to doing a trolley tour for the board. Director Karczewski
                suggests the meeting date in August. Mayor Johnson suggested waiting until September
                due to hot weather. The board agrees and Director Karczewski will plan to schedule the
                tour in September from 4-7pm approximately.
 VI.    Public Comment




Motion by Heywood, second by De La Rosa to adjourn.



Meeting adjourned at 7:10pm.
