MINUTES
A meeting of the Election Commission for the City of Muskegon was held at City Hall, 933
Terrace Street, Conference Room 103, to approve ballots, testing, early voting schedule, early
absent ballot processing and election inspectors for the November 5, 2024 General Election.
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2024.
Present: Election Commission Members Casey Allard and Betty lvory-Roberts; and, Elections
Coordinator Shelly Stibitz
Absent: Wanda Matsey
Motion by Allard; second by Ivory-Roberts to approve minutes of the July 15, 2024 meeting.
Motion carried.
Motion by Allard; second by lvory-Roberts to approve the November 5, 2024 General Election
ballot.
Motion carried.
Motion by lvory-Roberts; second by Allard approving the accuracy testing, early voting
schedule, early absentee ballot processing schedule and public notice information for the
November 5, 2024 General Election.
Motion carried.
Motion by Allard; second by Ivory-Roberts to approve early voting, early tabulation and election
day inspectors as presented and designate the clerk to make additions or deletions as
necessary.
Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
